Stefano's Starling is an ActivityPub server. It can exchange posts, follows, profiles, replies, likes, and boosts with other software across the fediverse.

Compatible platforms

Mastodon, Misskey, Pleroma, GoToSocial, PixelFed, and other ActivityPub-compatible platforms can interact with this server.

Lightweight by design

Starling is deliberately lightweight: pure PHP, no heavy external dependencies, and designed to run comfortably on small VPS hosts and typical shared hosting environments.

Starling idea

Inspired by starling murmurations: decentralized, leaderless, and shaped by nearby connection.
